The greatest Legacy we can leave our children is happy memories. Og Mandino
Clients are always asking for recommendations on good print companies! I have already describe in in a previous post why photography and photos are so important to me. Feel free to have a read if you would like to know a bit more about my sessions as well. But like everyone else I myself am guilty of having heaps and heaps of photos on my phone, but very rarely do these memories make it into prints! And so I have been trying really hard to prioritise printing more photos!
There are great online companies such as Parabo Press(US based) who make it easy to turn your social media photos into instant photo books or prints. They have a great product selection. They also do engineering prints. (really large prints at affordable prices). So definitely worth a look at their site.
If you are looking for a local company, who specialises in quality printing for those prints that are a little more special and you would like to last a little longer have a read below about a company I have partnered with called Myprophoto.
We recently had our own family session with the wonderful Amy from Amy Lucinda Photography. Amy has such a wonderful talent and mind. I have often said that I would love to live in her mind to be able to see the beauty she is able to create!
During lock down like everyone else we were rearranging and changing the house and so I have finally been able to print out these wonderful memories that Amy has captured for us!
Streets Imaging is a professional print lab who sells directly to photographers. I use them for all of my client printing in the gallery print shop(who some of you might have seen when you’ve received your galleries). They have now started a great platform called Myprophoto where my clients can order directly from the lab themselves. Taking advantage of the having full control over print products and sizes. Their products are high quality, and I couldn’t recommend their overall service enough!
They have a very informative article about paper types and image quality that I would recommend if you are trying to understand what all the fuss is about and why it really makes a difference. Of course fast printing at Big W or Officeworks definitely has its place. But I would really recommend having a look at MyProphoto for images that you plan on gifting or hoping to last a little longer!
If you would like more information about MyProto or would like some more information about my photography please feel free to contact me via the Contact page on my site or directly firstname.lastname@example.org.
